About this pretty little bulletin board thingy (aka inspiration board), my husband and I just started brainstorming several projects that we want to accomplish within next 2-3 years. So far, all of our ideas/progress/notes/etc are stored in our google drive but since I am a visual person, I wanted (needed) an inspiration board where I can visualize our ideas.

I decided to turn our old bulletin board (which was inherited by my husband) that we never use into our inspiration board. To give it a fresh and exciting look, I spray-painted it white. That’s all.

Hows that for creativity!!?? Wow! I continue to amaze myself. Truly… Now all I have to do is to start putting our ideas on there…

I bought my alphabet stencil cards that came with numbers and some punctuations from a local art store. I used my black sharpie marker and well, marked the numbers with it.

Next project: Get my 2 1/2 year old boy to learn how to count. Wish me luck.

I had a nice frame with cracked glass for *ahem* years and I never got around into replacing the glass or do something with it until today. I decided to turn it into chalkboard instead. Am loving the result. Let’s hope Damon does too.

I stumbled across this picture above via pinterest and couldn’t resist making one of my own. I didn’t use the book pages to create a paper flower (because I’m too lazy) and instead bought several fake flowers from AC Moore. For more detailed instruction, you can find it here.

I had several white wire hangers that I wanted to get rid of so I was happy to be able to repurpose them into a hook. I also cut out a round-shaped cardboard to hold the wire and the flower together by using my pink hot glue gun.  Simple and oh so sweet.

To polish up the hook, I used a white-out to cover the chips that was made from tweaking its shape.

Tada!  I hope you like it. :)

I inherited most of my furnitures from my uncle Ron and several quilts from my late grandma, Willema. The other day, I felt overwhelmed with too much brown colors in my living room and since I’m a shabby chic fan, I am dying for more bright colors in my life. So I decided to start with my armchair by covering it with my grandma’s quilt and put together a throw pillow cover with a fabric that I got from Goodwill. To finish, I sew a spiral ribbon on it after being inspired by this photo. Does it look more inviting now? Yes, it just might be my new favorite reading spot. It just might!
