Armchair Makeover
I inherited most of my furnitures from my uncle Ron and several quilts from my late grandma, Willema. The other day, I felt overwhelmed with too much brown colors in my living room and since I’m a shabby chic fan, I am dying for more bright colors in my life. So I decided to start with my armchair by covering it with my grandma’s quilt and put together a throw pillow cover with a fabric that I got from Goodwill. To finish, I sew a spiral ribbon on it after being inspired by this photo. Does it look more inviting now? Yes, it just might be my new favorite reading spot. It just might!
love the new looks on that armchair. i would do the same if i have something old from family heritage.

Glad you love it cuz I do too. Tempted to cover everything up with pretty quilts. :)
